Chasing the Trial belt was one example of how really elusive items keep players playing, and drives the community base. Far more emphasis on co-operative play and interactions and maybe an inclusion of team based modes for greater rewards.Ī new tier for weapons/accessories that is godly in terms of rarity. It needs fresh content, new mission types, more boss types, new enemies. And yet again your left repeating missions over and over (sure they have infinity mode) but that will become a bore in no time. By the time you got the gear you want in your well thought out build the game is basically over. But it still has the same problem it had in 2018. Wolcen 2023 = I am addicted to it, and the game has so much potential, still enjoying the experience, but the bugs are more frequent than ever. When you finally got your fancy gear all crafted there was nothing to do but repeat the same missions over and over. But overall i really enjoyed the experience, but felt it needed way more content to keep players glued to the game. Wolcen 2018 = I was addicted to it, and the game has so much potential, had a fair few issues with bugs and connectivity problems with online mode. This is a genuine question, as i'm actually curious - also I like the game and really want it to be the best it can be. So my question is this, what's holding Wolcen Studio (the devs) back from addressing the issues with the game ? Are they a small team ? or are they limited by a rolling budget, eg ongoing sales of the game, or something else ? However the devs clearly have a great deal of passion for this game, as they are still updating it and refining it and even adding whole new chunks of content, like the recent "Endgame" update. Unfortunately 3 years later Wolcen still has a lot of issues, not least of which are a Cry Physics crash that literally can stop you from progressing past a certain point in the game, offline saving issues, and a myriad of other smaller more general issues / bugs / glitches. So yeah Wolcen is one of my favourite arpgs, I played it at launch and really enjoyed it, despite all the major issues it had at launch - and i'm looking forward to playing it again when i'm able to.
